Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival is Valentine's Day Weekend

Spend your Valentine’s Day weekend with New Orleans musician and Trombone player Delfeayo Marsalis and some of the more eccentric local jazz artists at the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival being held this year in Rockville, Maryland. Construction worker turned professional jazz singer, Giacomo Gates will be performing this year also.

Every year it happens and this year it will be the weekend of February 14-17 in Rockville at The Hilton on Rockville Pike at 1750 Rockville Pike. All inclusive passport tickets for every event being offered are $205.00 and individual one act show tickets for the main stage are between $20.00 and $40.00.

Volunteers are still needed for various positions at the Hilton for The Mid-Atlantic Jazz festival and you may contact the office at their website or email hmarlin@midatlanticjazzfestival.org This is a chance to see many great performers for free.

Some of the more popular musicians include Vanessa Rubin, Delfeayo Marsalis, Giacomo Gates and The Freddy Cole Quartet. The Wayne Wilentz trio will be performing Sunday night on February 16 at the jazz festival. Please check the website for detailed schedules and a list of all the performers on the various stages. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door.
