Microsoft VP indicates more Xbox One exclusive games in the works this year

According to a report today from Official Xbox Magazine, Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer has indicated that more Xbox One exclusive games could be coming down the pipeline in 2014.

Taking to Twitter to answer questions from fans, Spencer said more announcements would head out this year, hinting that Microsoft could have an explosive E3.

“We will have announces in 2014, already working on the plan,” Spencer said. “I want to have a great E3 this year.”

OXM pointed to three potential examples of what Spencer could be talking about introducing soon, a new exclusive from Black Tusk, a rumored project from Lionhead, and an unannounced project from Epic Games.

Xbox One exclusive Titanfall has been the subject of much news over the last few weeks as the much next-gen mech first person shoot rolled out its alpha testing Friday.

Word from Respawn is that there is no word about a potential Titanfall open beta before the game drops on March 11 other than it could possibly happen.
