Microsoft Studios’ corporate vice president has commented on several upcoming Xbox One games. According to a report from Dual Shockers on March 1, a fan wanted to know what genres Phil Spencer would like to see more of on the next-generation system. The executive responded by saying that the company is looking for “unique and quality games” that aren’t already covered by third-party publishers. You can find the response below:

We want unique and quality games, preferably genres 3rd parties aren't doing as no reason for us to compete with them.

Another enthusiast responded by saying that he wants more role-playing games on the Xbox One. Phil Spencer jumped in to mention that he is “pretty excited” for “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” which was shown off during Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2013.

Although the open-world action role-playing game won’t be exclusive to the Xbox One, the executive still thinks that it “looks epic.” You can find a few screens featuring the aforesaid “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” in the slideshow located to the left side of this article and the comments from Phil Spencer below:

I’m pretty excited for The Witcher 3, was great at E3 last year. I know it’s not exclusive but looks epic.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” has been announced for the PC and PS4 along with the aforesaid Xbox One. CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the game’s development, previously hinted that the video game may include Kinect support on Microsoft’s new console as long as it does not break the immersion of the experience.
