Back in August, Sony officially announced the release date for the Playstation 4 during a press conference at the Gamescon event in Germany. The next-gen console will be released in North America on November 15 with a Europe release following on November 29. The Playstation 4 costs $100 less than the Xbox One starting at $399 (USD) and will have 15 games available between its release and the end of the year. Some titles include "Watch Dogs", "Need for Speed: Rivals", "LEGO Marvel Superheroes", and "Battlefield 4."
This morning Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will hit store shelves in the U.S. and 12 other global markets on November 22, one week after Sony launches the Playstation 4. The Xbox One's retail price is $499 (USD) and includes the HD 1080p Kinect 2.0 camera. Microsoft will launch 23 titles such as "Ryse: Son of Rome", "Dead Rising 3", "Call of Duty: Ghosts", and "Killer Instinct".
