Microsoft’s latest trade-in offer for the Xbox One not only includes the Xbox 360 but also prompts gamers to “ditch” the PlayStation 3 in favor of a $100 credit on toward the next-gen console, according to a report today from GameSpot.

In an email advertisement captured and posted to NeoGAF says, “Ditch your PS4 and get $100 store credit towards Xbox One.”

According to the report, the offer runs through March 2 and requires the PS3 to be in good working order. The offer also works for the Xbox 360 S and E models and owners of the current-gen hardware can turn the consoles into any one of the Microsoft stores in the United States.

With the price of a PS4 being $399 and an Xbox One at $499, the $100 rebate would level the prices if you would be willing to part with your old machine.

The promotional campaign comes just a week after Microsoft announced record revenues for Q3 in 2013 after the launch on the Xbox One. You can read that full Examiner report by clicking here.
