Microsoft will be releasing the Xbox One on November 22, a full week after Sony releases the PlayStation 4. The system will be released in thirteen territories, primarily in North America and Europe. The thirteen territories are the United States, the UK, Mexico, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, and Austria.
This announcement follows yesterday’s announcement that the Xbox One is entering into production with an increase in processing power by 150 Mhz, from 1.6 Ghz to 1.75 Ghz.
It appears that Microsoft is following tradition by releasing the Xbox One on November 22. Eight years ago, Microsoft launched the Xbox 360 on the same date.
You can still preorder a Day One Edition Xbox One through Microsoft or other retailers. The Day One Edition includes some additional features, such as a specially engraved controller and Day One digital content.
