Kim McClain of McClain Special Needs Advocacy is leading a quiet, peaceful protest and hand-delivering a petition to Disneyland in Anaheim Wednesday morning, October 9, 2013 - the first day of the new Disability Assistance Card program. The printed petition is over four thousand pages and was started by McClain Special Needs Advocacy online at MoveOn.org.

People who want to join the demonstration are invited to make signs and meet at the 7-Eleven at 611 W Katella Avenue in Anaheim, CA 92802 at 10 am. Children are welcome if they are able to tolerate the experience. Dress with the weather in mind. News media has confirmed that they will be covering the event.

You can find McClain Special Needs Advocacy on Facebook here. Many of the posts have lots of insider information about the new card system as well as guest experiences with the cast members (both good and bad). Kim McClain is a single mom of a special needs child based in Long Beach, California.
