Mick Jagger is in shock after hearing about his girlfriend L'Wren Scott's apparent suicide. The Rolling Stones frontman wrote on his site on March 18 that he is "still struggling to understand why [his] lover and best friend could end her life in [such a] tragic way."

The legendary singer talked about his many years with L'Wren and the "great life" these two enjoyed. He talked about her "talent" and he talked about how "touched" he was by all the tributes and personal messages he received to help him through his loss.

Mick signed the message, which is on the front page of his site and which shows the 6-foot, 3-inch designer and model wearing all black, with the closing, "I will never forget her."

Neither will her hordes of fans as indicated by the large number of media stories written and all the salutes that have been offered on social media after L'Wren Scott took her own life.

Meanwhile, Mick Jagger is honoring L'Wren Scott in an immediate way. After learning of the news of her death in Manhattan while he was down under, the Rolling Stones musician was likely the impetus for the band to cancel it's Perth concert, scheduled for March 19.
