According to Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), four of the 50 fastest-growing women-owned or women-led companies this year are right here in Michigan. The list is compiled by WPO and American Express OPEN the small business division of American Express.
ICONMA LLC of Troy almost doubled their sales to $103,206,959 from $53,167,731 last year placing it at the number 9 spot on the list. Owned by Claudine George, the 12-year old company specializes in staffing.
TTi Global, a trining, staffing, and outsourcing company in Rochester Hills also came close to doubling their revenues, jumping to $88,000,000 from $45,000,000 the prior year. Lori Baker saw her company come in at number 13 nationally.
Another staffing company, Strategic Solutions, Inc, of Detroit was in 30th place. Cynthia Pasky’s company grew to $220,000,000 from $168,000,000 and added 125 employees.
The fourth company in the top 50 fastest growing list is Northville’s Preferred Solutions. Unlike the other thee they do not do staffing. The healthcare IT service company grew from $4,660,691 to $16,803,779, finishing in slot 40 on the list. although percentage-wise Marie Seipenkos’s company had a larger growth than the other three, the formula calculates both percentage and dollar growth.
