A Michigan road rage incident left two people dead. On Sept. 20, ABC News reported that two men shot and killed each other in the parking lot of a drive-in car wash in Ionia. Robert Taylor, 56, and James Pullum, 43, were both killed after Taylor began tailgating Pullum.
"The two drivers eventually pulled into the parking lot of Wonder Wand Car Wash, at the intersection of M-66 highway and Steele Street. where they got out of their vehicles and fired shots at each other, police said. The two men exchanged a total of eight to nine shots, police said," according to ABC News.
The Michigan road rage case has made national news, mainly because people cannot believe that two men actually drew weapons almost immediately and killed each other. Sure, there have been plenty of road rage incidents where people get heated and someone grabs a baseball bat or something -- but for both men to get out of their cars and pull out guns? That's beyond intense.
"It’s the strangest situation I’ve ever heard of. We’ve all had altercations in road rage, but to pull a weapon?" said Michael Wood, the owner of the Wonder Wand Car Wash.
This Michigan road rage incident was frightening for everyone who witnessed it. Pullum’s mother and wife were both in his car while the altercation occurred. Neither were hurt.
