Michigan football lands five-star recruit Demar Dorsey on National Signing Day

At 1 p.m. Wednesday official word came out that five-star safety prospect Demar Dorsey was to sign his letter on intent with the Michigan Wolverines. This news came after four-star safety prospect Rashad Knight had committed to Rutgers instead of Michigan a few days earlier, and four-star safety in Sean Parker elected to go to Washington.

Dorsey, who also considered signing with Florida State and USC, was the final touch on a recruiting year intended to rebuild a poor 2009 Michigan defense. Michigan finished the year with the 14th-ranked recruiting class according to ESPNU.
