The Michigan Wolverines finished the college basketball regular season with an 84-80 home win over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday night at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. The victory lifted the No. 12-ranked Wolverines to a 23-7 overall record and a 15-3 mark in the Big Ten, where it took the 2013-14 conference crown.
Nik Stauskas again topped the scoreboard for the Maize and Blue, as the sophomore guard -- today named a finalist for the John R. Wooden Award -- scored 21 points. Four of U-M's five starters reached double figures, as Glenn Robinson III nearly matched Stauskas with 20 points, including a key three-point bucket with 1:13 remaining to put the Wolverines ahead for good, 78-75, after Indiana made a late charge to tie the contest. The Hoosiers likewise had four of five starters in double figures, as Will Sheehey led his squad with 17 points.
