Michiana Monologues 2012, A World of Difference

Indiana University South Bend’s (IUSB) Michiana Monologues’ Club embarks on their 5th annual fundraiser production which works to help organizations that assist women and children in crisis.

The Michiana Monologues performs anonymous stories submitted by local women in the Indiana and Michigan region.

This year’s production will be performed at two separate venues:  IUSB Northside Recital Hall, room 158 and The Historic Roosevelt Center in Elkhart, Indiana.  IUSB’s shows are February 16, 17, and 18 at 7 PM.  The Elkhart performance is Saturday, February 25 at 7 PM.

The IUSB performances will host a silent auction with goods and services donated by local artists and businesses at 6 PM.  Contact Angie Rice angrice@umail.iu.edu for more information on the Michiana Monologues’ silent auction.

Proceeds for this year’s event go to:  SOS of the Family Justice Center, YWCA of North Central Indiana, Elkhart County Women’s Shelter, GLBT Resource Center of Michiana, Planned Parenthood of Indiana, Maple City Health Care Center, and Indiana Legal Services, Inc .
