Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger’s life together is one of the subjects to come out of Michelle's latest interview. She describes the circumstances of how they first met as "cosmic or something,” . The “My Week with Marilyn” star describes how their on and off again love affair started. The late Ledger is the father or William’s six year-old daughter Matilda.
At the time of Ledger’s death, the two were separated and when Michelle was asked if she thought the two might have gotten back together if he lived, she said she often thinks about it and images what that would have been like.
The death of Ledger was tough for Williams, as she was swamped by the media while trying to protect her daughter from the circus of cameras and interviewers. Williams and Ledger met on the set of “Broke Back Mountain” and after his death she struggled with going back to work or not, now that Matilda was left with only one parent. She did go back to work and gave a shout-out to Matilda at the Golden Globes for being so supportive of her mommy’s career.
