Michelle Williams has split with boyfriend Jason Segel. The “Dawson’s Creek” alum and the “How I Met Your Mother” star quietly ended their romance earlier this month, Us Weekly reported on Feb. 27.
According to the report, Williams, who is the mother the late Heath Ledgers daughter, Matilda, and Segel couldn’t survive their long distance relationship.
Although Michelle Williams’ split with Jason Segel comes as a shock to many fans, it seems the couple parted on good terms.
Michelle and Jason went public with their romance in March of 2012. At the time many thought them to be a very strangely paired couple. However, over the months it seemed that the funnyman was actually a great fit for the “Oz” star.
Michelle Williams has split with various boyfriends since ending her long romance with Heath Ledger, who tragically died from an overdose in 2008. Many thought that Michelle had finally found the one in Jason Segel, and are hoping the couple may still be able to work things out.
