Michelle Williams and Jason Segel have split. The couple had been quietly dating for over a year but recently decided that things weren't working. On Feb. 26, Us Weekly reported that Williams and Segel could have called it quits because of their locations -- Michelle lives in New York City and Segel is based out of Los Angeles -- so carrying on a relationship is definitely difficult.
"The stars kept a relatively low profile throughout their relationship, rarely acknowledging the romance in public," Us Weekly reported. Their break-up, however, is still a surprise, as many believed that the two would end up getting married in the not-so-distant future.
Michelle Williams and Jason Segel were very close and they really became a little family with William's daughter, Matilda, 7. Whenever they were out together, they all looked so happy. As Us Weekly, points out, their recent vacation in Cancun earlier this year seemed to go really well too... but for some reason they just couldn't hang on.
It is unknown how Michelle and Jason left things but fans hope that they are still cordial or even friends. Are you sad to hear of this celebrity split?
