Michelle Rodriguez has officially come out as bisexual, after years of public speculation about her sexuality. Rodriguez made the declaration in an Entertainment Weekly interview that was published on Oct. 1, 2013.
Rodriguez, 35, had this to say when she was asked to comment on the rumors about her love life: “I don’t talk about what I do with my vagina, and they’re all intrigued. I’ve never walked the carpet with anyone, so they wonder: 'What does she do with her vagina?' Plus, I play a butchy girl all the time, so they assume I’m a lesbo ...
“Eh, they’re not too far off. I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f*cking curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”
Rodriguez (who tends to play tough, no-nonsense characters) has appeared in several hit movies, including the "Fast & Furious," "Resident Evil" and "Machete" series. She also had a supporting role in 2009's "Avatar," the highest-grossing movie of all time. Her other film credits include 2013's "Turbo," 2011's "Battle: Los Angeles," 2008's 'Battle in Seattle," 2003's "S.W.A.T." and 2002's "Blue Crush." Rodriguez had her breakout movie role as a female boxer in 2000's "Girlfight"
On television, she had a recurring role on "Lost" in 2005, until her character was killed on the show.
In the 2000s, Rodriguez got into trouble with the law several times. From 2002 to 2007, she was arrested for assault, driving under the influence, hit and run, driving with a suspended license, and violating probation. She has spent time in jail for these charges, and she went to court-ordered rehab for alcohol abuse.
Rodriguez has apparently turned her life around, since she has not been arrested or in jail since she was released from jail in January 2008, after serving a sentence for violating probation.
