Michelle Obama wears many hats and ruffles many feathers

Well, it seems that First Lady Michelle Obama is receiving more backlash. Is it because she said Beyoncé is a great role model for her girls? No.

Is it because of her Let’s Move Campaign that encourages parents to stop feeding kids junk food and choose more fruits, vegetables and whole grains? Not this time.

People are still fuming from her surprise appearance at the Oscars where she made an awards presentation, but it’s not even that.

The current commotion surrounding the First Lady, is her appearance on the cover of Vogue Magazine…well, second appearance. It appears that her look is “too glamorous” and she is also accused of classism according to comments left on The Washington Post.

“I just think the President and First Lady need to stick to being presidential, and stay out of our style magazines, football, and other things we would like to enjoy WITHOUT having to see their faces,” said one commenter.

Regardless of what people think of Michelle Obama, she’s not going anywhere. She even holds the title of “Most Televised First Lady of All Time”.

Dan Gainor, of the Media Research Center, said Michelle Obama is "off the charts" in her frequency of appearances in entertainment television cameos, even more so "than I dare say many big name actors and actresses."

She will continue to do what she does. For her 50th birthday she has booked Adele and Beyoncé to perform at her huge celebrity birthday bash. Get ready for the firestorm.
