Michelle Obama Turns 49; A look back at her memorable dresses and style (Video)

No other First Lady has created more style buzz and influenced the style vista of a nation than the current FLOTUS Michelle Obama. She makes fashion news and turns heads whether she is in an expensive designer outfit or dons a dress from a discount store! Her signature toned arms, fitted sheaths, full skirts, kitten heels, wide belts and her love for florals and prints make her style classic and so approachable. Her style is very real, confident, easy to translate into an every day woman's wardrobe. During her tenure as the First Lady of the United States, Mrs Obama's style has evolved in front of our very eyes to be iconic. As she turns 49, we are reminiscing about some of her memorable outfits- from her beautiful 2008 inaugural gown by Jason Wu to ASOS dress worn on campaign trail to her J Crew cardigan to a visit to 10 Downing street. Great outfits aside, Mrs O has a unique point of view about style. She is famous for mixing an inexpensive piece with a designer label and make it all her own. She says she wears something because she loves it and not for the label. Now that is a sentiment we all can agree upon!
