First lady Michelle Obama will guest star on the season six one-hour finale of NBC’s Parks and Recreation.

The exclusive news reported by The Hollywood Reporter says that the peacock network announced Thursday that Obama will cameo in the episode “Moving Up”, which airs Thursday, April 24.

According to the report, the episode was filmed in late February in Miami. Obama's scenes involved her “Let’s Move” campaign, which tackles the issue of child obesity. Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler was a special guest during the Obama event held in Miami during that time.

This is not the first time a politician has appeared on the NBC comedy show. Others who have made cameos playing themselves include Vice President Joe Biden, and Senators John McCain, Barbara Boxer, and former senator Olympia Snowe.

Parks and Recreation stars Poehler as Leslie Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessentially American town just a little bit more fun.

The show recently said farewell to stars Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe’s Ann Perkins and Chris Traeger.

The comedy series also stars Nick Offerman, Aziz Ansari, Adam Scott, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Retta, and Jim O’Heir.

Parks and Recreation airs Thursday nights on NBC.
