The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) didn't hold back with her Body English showing her contempt for her husband's chief political rival, Republican Congressman John Boehner as reported by The Telegraph (of London, U.K.) on Jan. 21, 2013
At a luncheon in honor of Barack Obama's second inauguration, the FLOTUS was caught by the camera's eye rolling her own eyes, not once, but twice as the Speaker of the House attempted to engage her in conversation (see video, left).
Mrs. Obama followed her eye rolls with a noticeable sneer aimed at the congressional leader.
By the dictates of protocol and decorum, the First Lady is technically the Official Hostess of all presidential receptions and affairs.
But neither protocol nor decorum kept Mrs. Obama from violating one of the basic rules of table manners whilst she luncheoned with her elbows firmly planted on the table.
As Speaker of the House, Representative Boehner is constitutionally second in line of succession to the office of the presidency.
