Michelle Obama picks Jason Wu (again) for her inaugural ball gown (Photos)

The stylish First Lady picked designer Jason Wu (she wore Jason Wu gown for inaugural ball in 2009 too) for her Inaugural Ball gown. Mrs Obama wore a custom Jason Wu ruby colored chiffon and velvet gown, Jimmy Choo shoes and a handmade diamond embellished ring by jewelry designer Kimberly McDonald. At the end of the Inaugural festivities, the outfit and accompanying accessories will go to the National Archives. For the dance, President and the First Lady swayed together on the al Green's song Let's Stay Together, sung by Jennifer Hudson.

Earlier in the day Mrs O looked polished and elegant in a navy-silk, checkered-patterned coat and dress by Thom Browne for the inauguration ceremony in Washington DC on Monday. She accessorized the her outfit with a belt from J. Crew, necklace by Cathy Waterman and a cardigan by Reed Krakoff, whose ensemble she also wore to yesterday's low key swearing-in ceremony in the White House.

Michelle Obama is known for mixing high and low priced items to create unique, polished, confident looks and widely praised for her sleek and modern fashion sense.
