A photo of Michelle Obama that resembles a monkey appeared a few weeks ago on google, and for the past 24 hours google has been under fire for it. The photo was initially reported to google two weeks ago. Google banned the original site that had the photo, but then the same photo appeared on another site and google let the photo remain.
Then when Michelle Obama monkey photo was googled this statement appeared from google: "Sometimes Google search results from the Internet can include disturbing content, even from innocuous queries. We assure you that the views expressed by such sites are not in any way endorsed by Google."
