Those who were named in the list of persons hacked include his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, as well as Obama’s vice president – Joe Biden. And there are more political figures involved with the hacking threats such as United States Attorney General Eric Holder, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, FBI director Robert Mueller, and GOP-heavyweight who is the former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin.

Obama said that persons should not be surprised that such hacking crimes are possible given that there are even web sites on the Internet that tell people’s credit card information. Obama went on to call the dirty deeds of the hackers to be sophisticated.

On Monday, a web site posted what hackers claim to be the real Social Security numbers, credit reports, former addresses, and the personal banking information of celebrities and many top Washington, D.C., officials. Some of the information claims to be the accurate phone numbers of some of the persons, including Michelle Obama’s numbers.

The non-political celebrities hacked include Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Mel Gibson, and Kanye West, according to TMZ. The phone numbers included in the stars' private documents include those of their business associates, and those numbers have been called regularly since the information was hacked - the public, apparently, hoping to reach the celebrities.
