Michelle Nunn for Senate

Tuesday kicked off the 2014 elections cycle, the same day that Vice President Joe Biden joined Nunn in Atlanta for a fundraiser.

The open Senate seat in Georgia, vacated by retiring Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga), is on Democrats' radar this year.

Democrats are gearing up for a tough fight in 2014 to protect their fragile majority in the U.S. Senate, which means that Nunn can count on support from the party bigwigs this season.
