The latest new episode of “19 Kids and Counting” featured the love story of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, However a future episode will center on Michelle and Jim Bob and their quest for a 20th child. As revealed by TLC on May 9, a new episode titled “Couples Weekend” will include a visit to a fertility doctor to explore Michelle’s ability to conceive, carry and deliver a 20th child. As posted by The Stir on Thursday, the mother of 19 revealed that she spends just $35 per child per week to feed her super-sized family. Is she looking for one more mouth to feed?
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are currently busy planning a wedding, overseeing the courtship of a second daughter, and raising younger children, but they’ve spoken publicly that they would always welcome a new addition to their over-sized family.
After their 19th child, adorable Josie Duggar, was born in 2009 three months prematurely and spent three months at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, it seemed as if Michelle’s childbearing years might be coming to an end. However, the Duggar parents tried again, but suffered a tragedy when they lost Jubilee Shalom on December 11, 2011. As posted by Mail Online, Michelle lost her 20th child five months into her pregnancy. The family mourned their loss during a touching memorial service that aired on “`19 Kids and Counting.” Jim Bob stated:
We won’t see this child’s life and the phases that we’ve seen for our other children, but we know that we will see this child in heaven one day.
Despite Josie’s early birth and the loss of Jubilee, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar from "19 Kids and Counting" stand firm in their belief that they would welcome another child, their 20th. According to the Christian Post, Michelle and Jim are excited to be grandparents, but they would be ecstatic to be parents one more time.
Despite the age of Michelle (46) and Jim Bob (48), the two seem determined to add another child to their super-sized family. So much that the two visit a fertility doctor to see if another pregnancy is even a possibility for Michelle. In the meantime, “19 Kids” and Counting” will continue to focus on Jill and Derick, plus Jessa’s courtship with Ben Seewald.
