Michelangelo’s David in the flesh? Man spends $150,000 in plastic surgery

Michelangelo’s David is one of the most well-known statues in the world. While people immediately know how Michelangelo’s masterpiece Renaissance sculpture looks, but it’s fair to say everyone might be a little uncomfortable if they saw the masterpiece’s face walk by on a human body. Perhaps that is why some people are comparing a 20-year-old kid from Japan to the Human Barbie, Valeria Lukyanova. According to Oddity Central on Friday, spent $150,000 on plastic surgery in a span of just one year.

In fact the man has some many people thrilled he is changing his face, there is a crowd-sourcing campaign going on in Japan for the young guy to continue getting surgery to make his face look like the masterpiece. So far there has been plenty of under the knife sessions to start making the transformation happen. With two nose operations, one surgery to open his eyes further, four lift-and-to stop wrinkles, and injections to almost everywhere else to shape his chin, forehead and lips, there has been a major transformation in 12 months.

There is still more to come. The man is looking to smooth out his face further and plump up his cheeks to make his image more like the actual piece of artwork. Perhaps that is why he is being compared to the Human Barbie, Valeria Lukyanova. She will stop at nothing short to being the perfect Barbie doll in the flesh. With plenty of plastic surgery and lots of visual design she has transformed into a walking doll. It appears that Alan is on his way to do the same thing, except he will look like a masterpiece (instead of a Mattel doll.)

Check out the video above to see the masterpiece as it landed in America, drawing the aim of photo lenses every corner it turned in New York City.
