Michaele Salahi and her husband, Tareq Salahi, were on the Today Show and spoke about becoming the "White House party crashers."
In an interview with Matt Lauer, Michaele Salahi said, "Our lives have been destroyed, everything we've worked for," adding, "For me, 44 years just destroyed."
Michaele and Tareq Salahi also claimed to be "shocked" and "devastated" after finding out that they are now known as party crashers.
According to Michaele Salahi, she and her husband Tareq Salahi were invited to the private party at the White House. She said, "We were invited, not crashers," adding, "There isn't anyone that would have the audacity or the poor behavior to do that. The White House, is the most, it is the House, and no one would do that, and certainly not us."
Without going into details, Tareq Salahi said that he and his wife, Michaele Salahi, are "cooperating extensively" with the Secret Service's investigation of the issue, and that eventually "The truth will come out."
