Michael Woods's ‘Ctrl Alt Delete’ tour makes a 'pants free' visit to Pacha NYC

After the most recent, end-of-the year EP success of ‘Control + Alt + Delete,' Michael Woods has raised all expectations this 2014 as he hits the ground running with back-to-back tours that embark across both Europe and North America. Visiting some of the most renowned venues in the world, the artist has made his way to Hakkasan Las Vegas on Feb. 22 and will now be venturing to Pacha NYC this Friday, Feb. 28 to headline its annual “no pants party” the venue recently announced.

Woods’s recent ‘Control + Alt + Delete’ E.P. which was released off of the artist’s Diffused imprint in the latter end of 2013, showcases the essence of Woods’s gritty, underground production style. Setting himself apart from other artists, the E.P. features three, bold, unique tracks that keep listeners on their toes with cutting-edge sound. Deeply rooted in progressive-house, the tracks also encompass a myriad of other influences that range from techno, electro, and house, making his productions both distinct and unique in the directions they take.

Since its announcement, the artist’s “no pants party” performance has had all of New York City buzzing. Hosting the party for the past three years, the venue will be holding an actual “pant check” at the door, which will operate the same way as a coat check and will be granting free admission to the “pants-less” patrons who enter prior to 2 a.m.

For those who are the less exhibitionist types and would like to keep their pants on, they can sign-up online using Pacha’s regular guest-list to receive free admission prior to midnight and purchase tickets if entering after midnight. Because the party will be hosting an exclusive performance from an in-demand artist, the venue strongly recommends purchasing advanced tickets online, which will end up being cheaper anyway. For those who are under-age, it is worth noting that this event will be one of the very few opportunities that Pacha will grant minors (19+) admission at its door this year. The only thing left to remember will be your underwear.
