Michael W. Smith, Cindy Morgan, and David Mullen's song for Haiti

It looks like more Nashville gospel artists have come together to write a song to benefit earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Earlier in Gospel artists Kirk Franklin, Natalie Grant, Mary Mary, Marvin Sapp recording benefit song for Haiti, I reported that gospel artists Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Natalie Grant, Anthony Evans, Jr. and Mary Mary were among a group who were recording a song to benefit Haiti. Now it looks like they are not the only Christian musicians in Nashville working on a song to support Haiti.

Michael W. Smith - "Writing a Song for Haiti with David Mullen and Cindy Morgan"

Tonight Michael W. Smith tweeted: "Such a great day writing a song for Haiti with David Mullen and Cindy Morgan. Cutting the track tomorrow. Check out some footage on my site."

That piqued my curiosity so I visited David Mullen's Facebook page and found this: "Finished the day with Michael W. Smith writing a song for Haiti. So much to do."

A visit to Michael W. Smith's website revealed this tantalizing teaser, "Take a look inside the studio as Smitty, Cindy Morgan, and David Mullen write a song for Haiti..." as well as the video posted below.

It looks like the gospel music community in Nashville is really coming through for earthquake victims of Haiti.
