Michael Vick down to 3 teams, who's more likely to sign him?

Three teams are actively perusing quarterback Michael Vick. Only one offers a legit chance at starting and only one offers a sense of normalcy. The problem, they aren’t the same team.

According to Kim Jones of the NFL Network, Vick insists he will only sign with a team where he can be the starter. After five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and six with the Atlanta Falcons, why should Vick settle for a backup role?

The Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Oakland Raiders are interested in Vick’s services.

According to the NFL Network, Vick’s discussions with the Jets have reached a standstill as they won’t commit to him as the starter.

The Buffalo Bills are “all-in” on EJ Manuel, which only leaves the Oakland Raiders as a suitor.

The Oakland Raiders desperately need a starting quarterback and Raider-Nation would embrace a player like Vick. While Raider-Nation may love him, he needs an offensive line and that’s something the Raiders are lacking. Unless the Raiders did some serious re-tooling Vick wouldn’t last two weeks.

While the Raiders offer the starting quarterback situation, it’s the Bills who offer the best situation for him. A solid offensive line, weapons like CJ Spiller, Fred Jackson, Robert Woods and Stevie Johnson would be ideal. EJ Manuel is anything but secure. Just look at his injury history.

The Jets may be the target everyone keeps watching but they are also interested in Josh McCown and believe he can push Geno Smith.

If there is one thing we have learned from the Jets, they are clueless when it comes to dealing with quarterback controversies. This clearly would end up a disaster in true Jets fashion.
