Michael Strahan wears many hats, and now he is adding “Good Morning America host” (GMA) to his numerous titles.

In an interview with Extra, anchor Robin Roberts confirmed that Strahan is indeed joining the GMA team by stating his "arrival is imminent," and she can’t wait to have him on the show.

The “Live with Kelly and Michael” host is also a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday and played 15 years for the New York Giants where he set a record for most sacks in a single season in 2001 and won a Super Bowl his final season in 2007.

Strahan is engaged to model and reality television star Nicole Murphy of the hit television show “Hollywood Exes.”

The high-profile couple is in the midst of planning their wedding, and they also have their hands full with nine children between them.

Murphy has five children from her previous marriage to actor Eddie Murphy.
