On his radio show, The Savage Nation, which aired on Wednesday, Michael Savage discussed the troubling revelation that the White House sent a threatening e-mail to reporter Bob Woodward.
As a result, Savage began his show to the tune of the Soviet national anthem and welcoming his audience:
"Welcome to the United Soviet State of America."
The reason Dr. Savage began his show in such a manner is to highlight - as Savage referred to - Obama's "madness", as well as to send out a "warning".
He said:
"I told a friend just two days ago that Obama looked crazy. I said in the phone conversation. I said I'm an observer of politics, particularly how people look and he's starting to look crazy. He's drunk on his power. He's over the top...and now you've seen what he's done. He's thrown down the gauntlet against a journalist...a liberal journalist of some repute..." - referring to Bob Woodward.
Savage was referring to a story linked on the Drudge Report, "A 'Very Senior' White House person Warned Me I'd regret what I'm Doing".
In this report, Woodward admits that he was sent a troubling e-mail that makes him "very uncomfortable", having the White House telling a reporter "You're going to regret this."
On his show, Savage continued:
"Obama's madness is evidenced on his face."
As Savage explained on his show, Bob Woodward -as a reported - was instrumental in bringing down the Nixon presidency.
Woodward had just been on MSNBC's Morning Joe, explaining that Obama's claims regarding the sequestration revealed "a kind of madness" he hasn't seen in a long time. Obama - as Woodward points out - wants to make the excuse that he cannot send an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget worries.
In other words, Obama claims that he - as the president of the United States - cannot defend America because of budget cuts.
Woodward added:
"Can you imagine Ronald Reagan sitting there and saying, 'Oh, by the way, I can't do this because of some budget document?"
Dr. Savage, once again, warns Americans:
"It didn't happen overnight in Russia. No. The potato patch sprouts very, very slowly and you have to watch the sprouts very carefully and I as an agronomist will tell you what is popping up in the garden that Obama has planted."
In America, now, it seems that reporters who dare to question the president's motives or policy decisions are likely to receive threatening e-mails from "senior officials" in the White House. Is this the America you grew up thinking about?
