Michael Savage: ‘Is America on the brink of a civil war?’

With continued troubles with the economy, stagnant wages, unemployment, Obama administration and democratic scandals and corruption, and the increasing dangers of the threats from the radical Islamic terrorist organization, ISIS, and border issues, questions are being asked whether America is on a brink of a civil war.

Kathy Shaidle of WND reported on Friday that well-known talk-show and radio hosts such as Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham, and Rush Limbaugh are sounding the alarm that Americans are getting fed up with the direction of the country, the corruption, the invasion of their personal lives and privacy, and dangers from outside the nation.

One such radio talk-show host, Michael Savage feels so strongly about what he is seeing, Shaidle reported that Savage is pushing his publisher to make his new book, “The Coming Civil War: My Savage Truth” available for pre-order as soon as possible as the book is slated to be released on October 2014.

Shaidle said that Savage is calling on readers to help save America from certain doom, starting at the ballot box, but going beyond electoral politics to address the roots of our problems.

Savage said on his radio show that he believes the split between the right and left is possibly irreparable, unless we understand what’s really happening and how we must act to stop it. Savage spoke about what is going on with ISIS, the Obama administrations response and the police-shooting incident of a black teen, in Ferguson, Missouri.

In his new book, Savage said, “Our nation is in real trouble and the seeds of a second conflagration have been sown. Not between the states, but between true patriots who believe in our nation's founding principles and those he believes are working every day to undermine them and change the very nature of the country.”

In his book, Savage asks, “How are recent changes to the Senate's filibuster rules a thinly- veiled extension of big government's limits on our civil rights? Why have so many of our top military commanders been summarily pushed aside, after years of brave service? When will the nefarious strategy of "purposeful incompetence" underlying Obamacare be exposed for what it is and how is Obama's feckless foreign policy not just weakening us in the world, but actually endangering our security at home as well?”

Meanwhile, Chuck Baldwin, radio broadcaster, syndicated columnist, and pastor said on Renew America that the issue that went on in Ferguson, Missouri gave a preview of America's burgeoning police state.

Baldwin reported that communications officer, Cristian Balan, who is in the U.S. Army and not speaking on behalf of the U.S. Army, told the Guardian, “I'm a soldier… I'm a military officer and I know when there's a need for such thing, but I don't think in a small town of 22,000 people you need up-armor vehicles. Even if there's an active shooter, are you really going to use an up-armor vehicle? Do you really need it?”

Because of the report from the Guardian, Baldwin said, “This is not a Republican or Democrat issue; it is not a liberal or conservative issue; it is not a black or white issue; it is not a Christian or secular issue. It is a liberty or slavery issue! A freedom mindset and a police-state mindset cannot coexist. They cannot! We will either have one of the other. The American people better make up their minds quickly which one it will be, because, if we do nothing, our very own and very real Police State is just around the corner.”
