Michael Rooker is Driving Dead plus celebrities, comics, and cosplay in Chicago

On Thursday August 21, 2014, "The Walking Dead" star, Michael Rooker kicked off his weekend at Chicago's 2014 Wizard World Comic Convention with a special, sneak preview of "The Driving Dead" web series. "The Driving Dead" web series will be going live on August 25, 2014 with drivers in a post apocalyptic, zombie infested world. The series is being produced by the Illinois Department of Transportation as part of their effort to reduce drunk driving. Mr. Rooker will be at Wizard World for the weekend for autographs, panels, and other appearances.

Wizard World Comic Con will be bringing dozens of other major celebrities this weekend. From the Star Trek universe, William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Karl Urban, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner will be making live appearances and Leonard Nimoy will be appearing via Skype. From "Dr. Who", Matt Smith, John Barrowman, and Karen Gillan will be appearing for photos, panels, and autographs.

WWE wrestlers, John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Dave Bautista, Diva Paige, and Bruno Sammartino will be smashing their way through the crowd for autographs and photo-ops as will Bruce Campbell, David Boreanaz, James Marsters, Jason David Frank, and many other celebrities.

Stan Lee will headline the scores of comic creators, artists, and writers that will be at the convention. The Wizard World Comic Conventions are great opportunities to meet with the writers and artists of your favorite comics, get their autographs and even pic up some of their original artwork.

Last but not least, Wizard World hosts one of the biggest adult costume contests in the midwest on Saturday evening, and then again, the children's costume contest on Sunday. There will be heros, heroines, sidekicks, and villains decked out in some of the hottest cosplays but be forewarned, the adult costume contest is for adults so viewer discretion is advised. If you want to see a huge assortment of amazing costumes, including sexy ladies and gents in true to the comic costumes, viewing is highly advised!

So if you are in the midwest this weekend, get to Chicago's Donald E. Stephens Convention Center for an awesome time @WizardWorld!
