One of the groundbreaking voices in exploring food production and advocates for creating a more sustainable food system, author Michael Pollan will be speaking and signing his most recent book, In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto at the Harold Washington Library Center on Monday. May 18 at 6:00 p.m.
Michael Pollan's writing, which also includes the best-seller The Omnivore's Dilemma, take important looks our food production system today and point out how far we are getting from eating "real" food by relying on highly processed foods.
