Michael Muhney has been fired from the soap opera “The Young and the Restless” after Hunter King, the co-star who plays “Summer” on the television program, claimed that Muhney grabbed her breasts, according to a UPI report on Sunday. Due to alleged incidents, Muhney – who played Adam Newman on the program will be seen on the show for the last time on Jan. 30, 2014.

King, who is 20-years-old, told police last month that Muhney, who is 38-years-old, not only bullied and harassed her – but she also alleged that he groped her on two occasions. According to King, the two fondling-incidents were unsolicited by her as well as unwanted.

TMZ’s take on the story is that Muhney’s character has been very popular with fans of the television show. Those fans have allegedly threatened to stop tuning in for the program.

“The Young and the Restless” is a soap opera that was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell for the CBS television network.
