Michael Muhney seen on the set of Y&R

Michael Muhney

Today Celeb Dirty Laundry printed a spoiler about Michael Muhney. Yes, the same Michael Muhney who played Adam Newman. The Michael Muhney who was fired from The Young and the Restless last December, was actually spotted on the set of "Y&R." What can this mean?

Young and the Restless fans have been hoping for this to happen. They feel that no one can replace Michael as Adam. Since they were right about Billy Miller being irreplaceable maybe, just maybe Jill Farren Phelps has seen the writing on the wall and will rehire Mr. Muhney.
Since Mr. Muhney’s transgressions were never really addressed one can never be sure if the rumors were true or not.

Soap Opera Digest’s, June issue will have this to say about Michael Muhney being spotted on the set of The Young and the Restless. “The search for an actor to play Adam has intensified in the last few weeks, and insiders report that Michael Muhney could be back in the mix to reprise the role. The actor, whose controversial exit last December sent shock waves throught the community, was reportedly spotted at the Y&R studios.”

Is it possible do you think? Many fans boycotted the show when MM was fired and it would make them very happy to come back to Y&R to see him in the role again. Although the ratings have been good for Y&R it would make good sense for TPTB to try to assuage the feelings of many of their fans. They blew it with Billy Miller who has been rumored to be joining General Hospital as Jason Morgan plus the bad casting of David Tom in his place has upset many. It is time for JFP to make some good decisions before the fans win another round.

The Young and the Restless can be seen weekdays on CBS at 12:30 p.m.
