Michael Muhney is a name soap fans know well. He made a name for himself on “The Young and the Restless” as Adam Newman. When a scandal broke late last year and Muhney was fired from the show, fans revolted in a big way. Several rumors have been popping up about where Muhney will land, but nothing has been confirmed. According to a June 27 report from Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Michael Muhney may be headed to “General Hospital.” If the news is indeed true, fans are wondering where he will fit in.

“General Hospital” seems to be the stopping place for many “The Young and the Restless” actors. Michael Muhney would be the third actor to head to Port Charles. Michelle Stafford has already settled in as Nina Clay and Billy Miller is rumored to be the new Jason Morgan. Muhney's name is being linked to the characters of A.J. Quartermaine and Lucky Spencer. Fans aren't sure how either possibility will work out, but they are waiting for more information.

Twitter has been buzzing about Micheal Muhney and the many rumors about his placement. From returning to “The Young and the Restless” to heading to “General Hospital,” fans are giving out their opinions freely. The Muhney army fully supports seeing him head to ABC, but some long-term fans are disappointed that he won't be reprising the role he left so abruptly.

While no one knows where Michael Muhney will end up, “General Hospital” fans are excited at the possibility of snagging another big soap star. If he heads to Port Charles, a new character would best fit him. A.J. Quartermaine and Lucky Spencer are both historic roles on the show, and some fans are against Muhney trying to fill those shoes. It looks like nothing will be confirmed until Muhney makes an announcement, which isn't expected anytime soon.
