Fans of Michael Muhney and the soap opera "Young and the Restless" have been hoping that news would come out that he was returning to the show. On Wednesday, She Knows shared that it is official that he will not be coming back to the show again no matter what happens.

Back in Dec. of 2013, he was officially fired from this soap opera but viewers were hoping he would come back. There have been rumors flying that he would land on another soap opera or that he would end up back as Adam Newman. It doesn't look like he will be back though. Muhney shared some pretty disappointing news tonight.

Michael Muhney went to his Twitter today to talk about it. He said, "Just got an official call, although things got very close, I will not be returning to Y&R. That part of my life is over. Moving on..." It looks like Michael honestly thought that he was going to have a chance to be on the show again. He thought that he might get to return and he had been talking to them, but now it is official that he won't be back at all.

"Young and the Restless" lost a lot of viewers when they got rid of Michael Muhney. Several of them have been hoping that he would find a home on "General Hospital" or another soap that they have moved on to instead. Only time will tell if he will find a new home on daytime. His fans would be happy to see him anywhere on their television.

Fans are responding to Muhney and they are not happy about it. A lot of them are talking about how much they are going to miss him. A lot of viewers seem to feel like they don't deserve him anyway and they are glad that he is moving on to something else instead of being with this show. Hopefully he will get a new show soon and then viewers can see Michael Muhney back on television again.
