Lindsay Lohan's dad, Michael Lohan has been hired to host a new reality TV show called Celebrity Cheaters, according to a March 4 news report from S. I. Gossip, and a similar report on March 2 from celebrity gossip site Perez Hilton.
The show, a spinoff of the popular reality TV show, Cheaters, which specializes in catching cheaters in the act, will focus specifically on celebrity infidelity.
Produced by Bobby Goldstein Productions and currently hosted by Clark Gable III, Cheaters is now in its fourteenth season of syndication.
Regarding Michael Lohan’s role as host for the new Celebrity Cheaters reality TV show, producer Bobby Goldstein had this to say in an interview with Celeb Buzz:
“You are going to see a whole new side of Michael Lohan, one the public will strongly support as Lohan courageously exposes the toxic nature of cheating celebrity relationships in Hollywood.”

The Format of the Show
It’s not clear if the Celebrity Cheaters spinoff will follow the same format as the original reality TV show which begins with a brief interview of the suspicious spouse or significant onwhy they suspect their partner of cheating. An investigation of the suspected cheater is conducted and recorded by the show’s private investigators, culminating in a confrontation involving the cheater, the affair partner and the betrayed mate along with a full production crew and security personnel.
According to Celeb Buzz, Bobby Goldstein Productions is company is negotiating with cop-turned-celebrity private eye Bo Dietl for the role of lead investigator role on the new Celebrity Cheaters show. . Dietl, now retired from the New York City police department was one of the most highly decorated detectives in the history of the police department.
No information is available yet on when the first episode of Celebrity Cheaters is expected to air.
