Michael Lington performs in Casselberry

“I love performing in the Orlando area,” contemporary jazz artist Michael Lington said. “The audience is amazing!”

Lington will perform at the Spring Jazz and Art Fest at Lake Concord Park, located at 95 Triplet Lake Drive in Casselberry on Saturday, March 1. The event starts at 6:00pm and continues through 9:00pm.

The Danish sax-man has released 7 albums and has performed with Barry Manilow, Bobby Caldwell, Randy Crawford and Michael Bolton among others. Lington will be share some new music from his newest album, Soul Appeal, that will be available April 8.

“I am bringing an amazing band so I am super excited about the show and would love to invite the folks to come out and party with me,” Lington said.

Bobbi "Funkeeboy" Tammaro will open for Lington taking the stage at 6:00pm. "It's all about making people feel something from the music I create," Tammaro said. "I am looking forward to playing songs from my new CD "Soul Purpose."

This is Tammaro's 3rd album and features Warren Hill, Najee, Bob Baldwin, Cindy Bradley, Nick Colionne, among others. The first hit on the CD, "Let it Flow," is currently top 10 on all 3 charts (concurrently) GrooveJazz, American Music Chart, and Smooth Jazz Network Chart and #14 on Billboard. If that's not enough, the album is also currently the #1 selling CD worldwide in Soul Jazz.

The fest also features various food vendors who will be offering culinary delights and other specialty vendors, so bring your blankets, chairs and friends and celebrate an unforgettable evening of smooth jazz.
