On August 17, Michael Kors, fashion designer and  judge for the 'Project Runway' show married his Lance LaPere on Dune Beach in tony Southampton, L.I. -- and they walked down the aisle without shoes!

'To marry someone as wonderful and special to me as Lance barefoot on a glorious beach is more than I could have dreamed of,' Kors said, according to WWD.

Here's What I know:

  • A marriage license was filed weeks before -Aug. 3. at City Hall in New York, according to Life & Style.
  • The'be been dating for 21 years and Le Pere was an intern for Mr. Kors.
  • Both were married with shoes- how cute!
  •  

More than ever, same sex couples are flocking to New York which recently passed the new law permitting gay marriage. I will tell you more about this on my next article.
