Michael Jordan is busy: Marriage license this week and paternity court next week

They say that time heals all wounds and apparently Michael Jordan is a believer. CNN reports today that he and his beautiful fiancée Yvette Prieto applied for a marriage license in West Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday.

This will be Jordan’s second round at seeking marital bliss after a seventeen year marriage to Juanita Vanoy, the mother of his three children. The basketball legend reportedly plans to wed the Cuban-American model this spring.

In the meantime, he is under fire for denying he fathered a sixteen year old boy. Pamela Smith of Georgia sued Jordan in February and requested child support payment.

The claim was flat-out denied by the superstar and he asked for dismissal while accusing the mother of trying to swindle child support from two other men.

Sky News reports today that the hearing is planned for next Tuesday in Atlanta.

A simple test would suffice wouldn’t it? It seems that if someone is certain that they are not the father then the proof is in the pudding. Buck up and give a sample.

One thing is for sure, if he is indeed the father of this boy, fans’ reaction probably won’t be a very positive one toward the legend.

This case could definitely put a damper on his April wedding plans.
