"This is it" poster displayed in Japan
On my recent trip to Japan I could not help but notice the excitement building for the release of the new Michael Jackson film “This is it". The posters were everywhere you looked in malls, street corners, and on television. I wondered if there were any more tickets were available.
So I asked hotel and cafe owner Koji Tanakato to see if he could snag some of the tickets at a local theater. Koji also happens to be a big Michael Jackson fan.
Said Koji “I like his dancing” . I asked him if he enjoyed Michael's music to which he replied “I like Billie Jean”. I sat across from him as he went to the website to search for any tickets.
As expected there were no tickets for the opening available at his theater. So Koji will have to wait for his chance to see the King of Pop's final concert. Last night I checked my local theater to see if they had any tickets available. The guest services rep would not release any details on their current sales or availability . So I may have to get in line with the rest of the Michael Jackson fans to wait for my chance to see “This it”.
Are you planning to go to the opening night, or later in the week?
As always I want to hear your thoughts so ....
