Michael Jackson 'This Is It' earns $101 million Halloween weekend, film gets extended run

This is news that will surely make Michael Jackson fans rejoice! 'This Is It' has earned $101 million dollars this Halloween weekend. AEG had originally announced that the film would make an estimated $30 million, which is vastly different from what it has actually earned.

As a result of the film's success, the film has gotten an extended run, meaning that the film will run until at least Thanksgiving. According to Entertainment Weekly, "'This Is It' raised its worldwide total to a massive $101 million that easily breaks the record for a concert doc."
