Michael Jackson was a victim of homicide  on June 25th, 2009. He was finally laid to rest on September 3rd, 2009

This is a timeline of several happenings in the sad saga of Michael Jackson's death in the form of articles published in the last several weeks.

The first article, It was breaking news.

The story  moved so fast, I couldn't even get an article up between the time of the first report, to the time of the announcement that Michael had died.

Michael Jackson and the Las Vegas Connection.

Being a bit familar with the area of Michael's rented home, I did a bit more research and published this article about the other celebs on his street.

Michael Jackson transcended all generations.

Information came in so quickly, this article was published with several different links to articles about various situations going on.

Jackson memorials and Funeral rumors were flying. Trying to keep up was crazy. This article was published and as you can read for yourself the rumors were almost all just that, rumors.

The Jackson family clears up the Neverland Rumor.

Drug allegations start to surface in a serious way, the Staple Center tribute starts to be mentioned.

Confirmation that the Staple Center tribute was confirmed as truth.

Tickets for memorial tribute are to be given free through a lottery. Notice the comment section with fans very confused, sad, and happy about this lottery.

Opportunists try to sell their tickets on eBay and Craigslist. This was not suppose to happen and the family put a stop to it as best they could.

New York Representative Peter King puts his foot solidly in his mouth about Michael, calling him "a low life" among other things.

Auction site eBay pulls auctions for tribute tickets. One person supposedly sold their voucher for a ticket for 3 million dollars....crazy.

Silly videos start showing up on YouTube with supposed Michael Jackson ghost sightings. This article also covers some other Celebrity ghost stories.

Next serveral reports were blow by blow of the memorial.

Second report, the golden casket.

Third report, unused tickets were handed out to fans outside of the Staple Center.

Fourth report, what was happening now, Smokey Robinson, etc.

Fifth report, what's happening now, choir sings "We are going to see the King."

Sixth report, I started numbering the reports in the title, it made sense at the time. Barry Gordy was speaking.

Seventh report, Al Sharpton speaks.

Eighth report. MLK III Speaks.

Ninth report. Memorial tribute closes with the whole arena holding hands.

Tenth report, A request for comments and Paris speaks and breaks the world's heart.

Doing my regular Monday report of new DVDs,  a few Michael Jackson DVDs are released.

25th anniversary of Thriller, with Zombie cover report.

The Michael Jackson concert rehearsal film "This is it" reported to be released on Oct. 28th.

Both film and funeral are pushed back a few days.

LaToya to be interviewed by Barbara Walters on "20/20."

Paris Jackson gets her first haircut here in Las Vegas.

Michael finally gets his funeral, this article was published the day before.

CNN to cover Michael's funeral.

First report of Michael's funeral, family late.

Second report. Family now over an hour late, making Michael literally late for his own funeral.

Third report, family finally arrives.

Fourth report Michael's casket  arrives for funeral.

Michael Jackson finally rests in peace.

Questions arise about Michael's casket being open at the funeral or not.

This is it, from first report until Michael was laid to rest. What isn't here are the autopsy findings, the reported drug usage, things that aren't in my category of reporting.
