Michael Jackson's 'This is It' breaks records: 'It's a true phenomenon and not slowing down'

Michael Jackson has achieved yet again with his upcoming concert documentary 'This is It' which is breaking records in the one day that tickets have been on sale. London's Vue Entertainment's film buying director Stuart Boreman commented on the fantastic response from fans saying 'I've never seen anything like it in the 25 years I have been film buying. It's a true phenomenon and sales show no sign of slowing down.'

According to Yahoo News, 'This is It' sold more than 30,000 tickets in the UK which is more tickets than for advance purchases for Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings.

Japan has seen incredible numbers with ticket sales coming in at more than $1million dollars in the first 24 hours setting an 'advanced-sales record unmatched by any movie in history.'

In Los Angeles, fans camped out beginning last Friday in order to be among the first to get one of the 3,000 tickets that were available for the advanced screening at L.A. Live's new Regal Cinemas Stadium 14.

The movie is breaking records in many other countries as well, such as Austrailia and France.

Congratulations, MJ! If anyone was capable of this feat it is you!
