Michael Jackson's public memorial - relocated again!

Eleven days ago entertainer Michael Jackson passed away.  During that time locations for his memorial (not at Neverland), and final burial have been discussed, along with custody of his three children.  A celebration of his happened as well, at the BET Awards.

According to the Staples Center, Michael Jackson's public memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.

This service will be held at the Staples Center and will be telecast inside from the Nokia Theatre L.A. live across the street.

There will be a limited number (11,000) of free tickets made available for Michael Jackson's fans to attend.  750,000 fans are expected.

Tickets are expected to be in high demand.  The Staples Center wants people to know that by registering for tickets to attend the service does not guarantee that the registrant will get a ticket(s).

This in no way reflects if this will be the only memorial for Michael Jackson.  It is not known, at this time either, if there will be any "event" held in  honor of him at the Neverland Ranch.  If anyone knows about any other events or about his funeral and/or burial please leave a comment here or at debsford@gmail.com.

One, too, can ignore the title of the video below.  "Funeral" is not needed in the title, it is a clip, rather, of the day Michael Jackson passed away, and his body being transported.

Note that such schedules can change without notice, or notices that are discovered sometimes too late.  To those making travel or financial plans in regard to Michael Jackson's "events" please double or triple check with other sources before you make such investments.  Thank you.

Hi Deb; Great video, I hadn't seen that one. I wish Michael had stopped changing himself right after "Thriller." He was good enough. Too bad he didn't think so. Good article my dear.

Yes, loved his look during Thriller.
I forget the timeline of receiving fire to his hair/head, skin problem, etc. Maybe those and other symptoms make him repair/change his appearance even more. not sure
    thanks by the way.
