Michael Jackson grew up as a Jehovah Witness, so due to that religion's beliefs he did not celebrate Christmas.
In Michael's later adult years he stopped following the Johovah Witness religion, so his friend Elizabeth Taylor wanted him to see what Christmas was all about from her prespective.
Taylor and a small "team" helped her to decorate and video tape the inside of Michael's home, moslty it appears of the living room area, with tree, presents and lights. She did this while he was sleeping to surprise him.
The following is one of Michael Jackson's home video tapes showing the grand display of Christmas that Elizabeth Taylor presented to her friend.
This was shot in 1993, showing Elizabeth Taylor when she helped Michael celebrate Christmas for the very first time. He was 35 at the time.
The Christmas celebration took place at Neverland Ranch.
Notice that they opened many "squirt guns" - something Michael really enjoyed with the kids who visited the ranch.
